Overheating is usually caused by:

Mechanical friction: Increased friction between moving parts such as bearings, pistons, and the cylinder block (often due to wear, lack of lubrication, or misalignment).
Fluid friction: Excessive resistance in the oil flow path (e.g., narrow hoses, blocked valves) or turbulent flow inside the pump.

Q4: Why does the pump still discharge oil when in the neutral position (zero-displacement setting)?
